Change of Tenancy Process
When changing premises for your business, whether you are moving in or out, it is important to settle your utility bills. Once Eneco is notified of a change of tenancy we will immediately begin the process.
To complete the required supplier forms, we need the following information:
- MPAN/MPRN number or photograph of the meter clearly displaying meter serial number if this is not known.
- Full site address
- Current tenant’s forwarding details such as company name, company registration number, contact name, forwarding address, company telephone number and e-mail.
- New tenant’s details such as company name, company registration number, contact name, company telephone number and e-mail.
- Legal transfer date and supporting documentation.
- Meter readings on (or as close to) the legal transfer date as possible for NHH electricity and gas meters.
Once the forms have been completed, we will send these off to the relevant supplier and notify you as soon as the change of tenancy has been processed.
If you have left the premise, we will obtain a final bill from the supplier and forward this on to you accordingly. If you are moving in we will begin the tendering process and organise new supply contracts for you.
