Suppliers can often make mistakes with estimated billing and incorrect charges. This can lead to unnecessarily large bills and over payments, which can create cash flow issues for your business. We can also create billing and position reporting tailored to your individual requirements, should this be needed.

Change of Tenancy Process

When changing premises for your business, whether you are moving in or out, it is important to settle your utility bills. Once Eneco is notified of a change of tenancy we will immediately begin the process.

To complete the required supplier forms, we need the following information:

  • MPAN/MPRN number or photograph of the meter clearly displaying meter serial number if this is not known.
  • Full site address
  • Current tenant’s forwarding details such as company name, company registration number, contact name, forwarding address, company telephone number and e-mail.
  • New tenant’s details such as company name, company registration number, contact name, company telephone number and e-mail.
  • Legal transfer date and supporting documentation.
  • Meter readings on (or as close to) the legal transfer date as possible for NHH electricity and gas meters.

Once the forms have been completed, we will send these off to the relevant supplier and notify you as soon as the change of tenancy has been processed.

If you have left the premise, we will obtain a final bill from the supplier and forward this on to you accordingly. If you are moving in we will begin the tendering process and organise new supply contracts for you.

Terminations

With our twenty-year experience, we understand that suppliers are very keen to retain business and sometimes make it difficult to leave their supply. This is where Eneco can help as failing to register termination can leave you locked into further periods of supply on uncompetitive rates.

Once we have tendered your meter, we will contact your current provider to register a termination for the supply. We should then receive confirmation that you are free to leave on your current contract end date. Should you choose to move, your new supplier can then apply for this switch date without risk of objection.

Energy Data Analysis

Our consumption reporting helps you identify periods and patterns of energy wastage and track changes in energy consumption and performance.

Eneco’s team have extensive experience in data analysis and understanding the trends each individual customer’s data shows. We provide quarterly updates using the STARK HH reporting platform or produce our own bespoke in-house manual reports. These can highlight periods of high consumption, unnecessarily high baseload and anomalies such as power outages or spikes. Energy data analysis gives you the tools to see potential cost saving opportunities and to implement measures to resolve these issues. We can also tailor reports to suit your business specifications, such as the time periods you would like us to report on.
